Build boldly.
Run reliably.

I'm Abdul. I build the infrastructure that lets teams focus on what they do best: building things people want.

Secure clouds. Dependable platforms. Identity that works. Seven years of turning complex systems into something teams can count on.

Real problems.
Practical solutions.

Good engineering makes a difference you can feel. Here are a few examples of what that looks like in production.

Cloud engineering

Cloud, under control.

Enterprise healthcare · multi-account AWS + Azure

From account sprawl to repeatable, governed infrastructure.

Account onboarding went from a multi-week ticket queue to a same-day pull request, with drift caught before it reached prod.

Read case study

The challenge

Account sprawl, snowflake setups, and a security team that found out about new environments after they shipped.

What I built

Stood up Terraform landing zones, guardrails (SCPs / Azure Policy), and Okta SSO so every new account is born compliant instead of getting bolted on later.

Reliability engineering

The quiet on-call.

Streaming / media · Kubernetes platform reliability

Better signals. Clearer dashboards. Fewer 3 AM surprises.

Pages dropped to the ones that actually matter, and mean-time-to-'oh, that's it' fell hard once the dashboards told the truth.

Read case study

The challenge

On-call was a coin flip: noisy alerts, no SLOs, and dashboards nobody trusted at 3 AM.

What I built

Defined SLOs, rebuilt observability on Grafana, ELK, and Splunk, and wired alerts to symptoms instead of every twitchy metric.

Identity engineering

Access, by design.

Telecom · identity & access at scale

The right people. The right access. Nothing left behind.

Reviews that used to burn a day now run themselves, and orphaned access stopped quietly piling up.

Read case study

The challenge

Joiner-mover-leaver was manual, access reviews ate entire Fridays, and 'temporary' access had a way of becoming permanent.

What I built

Automated provisioning with Okta and SailPoint, codified roles, and put access reviews on rails so least-privilege survived contact with reality.

The right tool.
For the real problem.

I work across the stack, with an emphasis on systems that are repeatable, observable, and secure.

Cloud & infrastructure

AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI, Terraform, Ansible

Reliability & delivery

Kubernetes, Docker, GitOps, Grafana, ELK, Splunk

Identity & automation

Okta, SailPoint, IAM, Python, Go, Bash

Built in the
real world.

From healthcare identity to entertainment infrastructure. Different industries, the same care for the systems people depend on.

A little about me.

I'm a cloud engineer, SRE, and IAM specialist based in California. I like problems that cross boundaries: between clouds, between teams, and between “it works” and “we can trust it.”

I automate the repetitive parts, document the important parts, and build with the person on call in mind. Outside the job title, I'm curious by default and happiest when I'm making something work better.

Say hello
